28th Málaga Festival

The Christine Ruiz-Picasso is hosting special screenings as part of the Documentary and Golden Film sections of the 28th Málaga Festival.
This year the Golden Film section is paying tribute on 17 March to José Luis Borau with Poachers, 50 years after the release of this film, which won a Golden Shell award at the San Sebastián film festival. The screening will be preceded by a talk and presentation of Carlos F. Heredero’s book Furtivos. 50 años. Germán Roda’s documentary Borau y el cine will also be shown on that day.
The Documentaries section includes screenings such as La Argentina. Lejos de las palabras, Almudena por Almudena, Berlanga, fanáticamente contradictorio, Kraus, el último romántico, Gypsy en el Soho. El sueño de Antonio Banderas, Luis Gordillo, manual de instrucciones, Mirando el instante, El poeta del corazón, Velintonia 3, Dios lo ve, El canto de las manos and The Wisdom of Wonder, Eugenia Balcells Once and Again.
Tickets are available from the Teatro Cervantes, the Cine Albéniz and the festival’s website. The Christine Ruiz-Picasso Auditorium is in Plaza de la Higuera and is accessed via Calle Alcazabilla.
