Special day devoted to circus

To coincide with the exhibition And Fellini Dreamed of Picasso, Museo Picasso Málaga is organizing a special day devoted to circus, with a show featuring tightrope walkers, jugglers and trapeze artists, as well as workshops for all the family.

Animals on stage. Workshop for all the family. Continuous activity from 10.30am to 1.30pm Circus scenes often feature fantastic animals. Using pieces of cardboard, we will make fun lions, tigers, elephants and giraffes, as well as stage animals.

We’re in the circus!. Workshop for all the family. Continuous activity from 10.30am to 1.30pm Animal trainers, acrobats, clowns… There are lots of jobs to do in the circus. Choose what you want to be and create your own outfit, inspired by the artworks on display in the museum’s exhibition rooms.

Guided tour of the exhibition. For adult visitors. From noon to 1.00pm. Limited number of places. A guided tour of a selection of works in the exhibition And Fellini Dreamed of Picasso, finding out more about the show’s key concepts. Register for the morning visits as from 10.00 am.

Mediterranean Circus. Circus show. Rolabola company, National Circus Award winner, 2017. At one o´clock, the garden of Museo Picasso Málaga will turn into a circus ring to welcome the Rolabola circus company, one of Andalusia’s first circus companies with a contemporary approach. Circo Mediterráneo (Mediterranean Circus), is a show for all the family that uses humour to showcase the very best of traditional circus, in a performance that features tightrope walkers, jugglers and trapeze artists.

Activities are free with the price of admission, which is always free for children. Ther is no need to register for family workshops.
