A DAY WITH...OLGA PICASSO

Museo Picasso Málaga will take part in the International Museum Day, organized by the ICOM (International Council of Museums) with an open house day. All those who wish to enjoyed free entrance to the Buenavista Palace can visit Pablo Picasso. New Collection and the exhibition Olga Picasso.

You can also explore the architecture, visit the archaeological site and view the documentary Picasso at Work in the projection room. In addition, have a look at the Crommelynck Printing Press in the indoor patio, which was used to print around a thousand works by Picasso, and enjoy the museum’s bookshop and café.

The dialogue between young and old will be the axis of a fourth day of A Day with…Olga Picasso, which coincides with the celebration of the International Day of Museums. For university students under the age of 18, elderly members of active ageing centres and all that day’s visitors, Museo Picasso Málaga has organized a series of participative activities at 11.30am, 12.00am and 1.00pm in which memory, recollections, family, and living in a certain place will be just some of the themes that will be examined in groups. Throughout the morning, visitors to the museum will also be able to help build a map of ideas or concepts linked to personal memory. On this day, the Museum joins the celebration of the Noche en Blanco 2019, remaining open and with free access from 10am until 1pm.
