A series of activities that the participants can enjoy in different areas of the museum

We are proposing a series of activities that the participants can enjoy in different areas of the museum. Many of them will be able to carry out the activities at their own pace, and other people visiting the museum will also be able to get involved. Staff from the Education Department will be on hand in each of the activity areas at all times. Documentary: The Women of Music This will be screened on a loop all day, in the projection room. All the activities, in Spanish, were included in the price of admission, which is always free for children.

Imagined characters For all the family Continuously: 10.00 - 2.00pm. Room 12 The fantastic scenes and characters that appear in many of the works in the exhibition will serve as the starting point for this activity. Participants will be given shapes made of polystyrene, wood and cork to work on as sculptures, using string, raffia, different types of paper, etc.

Crazy Faces! For all the family Continuously: 10.00am – 2.00pm. Room 12 Masks allow us to change or modify our own identity. Based on the works in the exhibition and using a variety of materials, we will imagine and create new faces to wear as masks.

Reflected For all the family Acetate sheets on wood will serve as the supports for the art produced in this workshop. Participants will use paint markers to create portraits of themselves, using their own reflection.

Women Artists and Surrealism, getting to know the key concepts behind each of the sections into which the exhibition has been divided.

Women artists’ voices For adults 1.00pm – 2.00pm. Exhibition Rooms 5.00pm – 6.00pm. Exhibition Rooms In this tour of the exhibition, we will hear the voices of the artists while we view their work.
