Activities for children, families and adults
On the occasion on We are Completely Free. Women Artists and Surrealism, Museo Picasso Málaga organized a day to approach the work of the artists in the exhibition, from different perspectives and for all audiences.
The MPM Bookshop joined the celebration with a 5% discount on all items related to the exhibition.
Workshops and guided tours were scheduled throughout the day, so that the exhibition could be approached in different ways and by a diverse public.

PROGRAMME
Drawings on mirrors. A drawing workshop for families. A continuous activity from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. Museum garden. Perspex mirrors backed with wood were the supports for the art made in this workshop. Participants used paint markers to create their own portraits, based on their own reflected image.
Unreal objects. A sculpture workshop for families. A continuous activity from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. Museum garden. The starting point for this activity were the oval shapes that appear in many of the works in the exhibition. Participants were given expanded polystyrene oval shapes to sculpt, working on them with rope, raffia, different types of paper, etc.
Dada Collages. Collage workshop for families. A continuous activity from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. Bookshop Space. Using printed images and different weights and textures of paper, participants were able to make fantastical and unreal collages.
Talking to… Ajo Exhibition tour for adults. 6.00 pm. A one-hour tour. Limited number of places. Micro-poet, singer and composer Ajo will gived a commentated tour of the exhibition.
