DIRTYING AND CLEANING UP THE CITY

What defines a museum today? Is another paradigm emerging that is different from the one devoted to the conservation of a collection of artworks or heritage? Is the model of museum opposed by the Kunsthaus and Kunsthalle still valid? Is a museum that deals with the street, or is on the street, possible? Is it the same thing as an urban museum or urban art? These are just some of the questions that will be examined in this seminar, which features three professionals from different areas of the art world:

The Other Museum is an innovative project by Museo Picasso Málaga, involving art practice and reasoning. A space that is usually used for exhibitions has been transformed into a comfortable and safe multipurpose area for hosting workshops on weaving, engraving and ceramics.-
