To coincide with the exhibition František Kupka. Works from the Centre Pompidou Collection, MPM organized a seminar which contextualized the artist, his work, his time and the key issues involved in his approach to art.
The seminar was divided into four sessions, featuring guest speakers Brigitte Léal, Assistant Director in Charge of Collections, Musée National d’Art Moderne-Centre de Création Industrielle (MNAM-CCI), and the curator of the exhibition; Francisco Jarauta, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Murcia; Pascal Rousseau, lecturer at the François-Rabelais University of Tours; and the academic coordinator of the seminar, Maite Méndez, Professor of Contemporary Art at the University of Málaga.
