Maite Méndez Baiges

In her new book, Universidad de Málaga art history teacher Mayte Méndez Baige traces the history of the interpretations of Les Demoiselles d’Avignon, from various points of view: formalist, iconological, psycho-biographic, cultural, feminist and post-colonial. These are joined by the artistic aspect, using replicas, copies and reinventions.
