The Museo Picasso Málaga and SECC, the Sociedad Estatal de Conmemoraciones Estatales, attached to the Spanish Ministry of Culture, jointly organised the series of lectures Picasso and the Mediterranean, as a parallel activity to the exhibition The Picassos from Antibes.
Jean-Louis Andral, director of the Musée Picasso, Antibes, launched the series with the lecture Picasso at Grimaldi Castle.
