Curator of the exhibition Picasso. Small Figure. The Collection in Context, Marilyn McCully opened this lecture cycle devoted to the influence of non-western cultures on the art of Picasso. Her talk investigated Picasso’s particular sensitivity towards children’s visual perception, which she related to primitivism in his artistic oeuvre.
