Semana Blanca Workshop: Old and Modern

For the Semana Blanca school holidays, Museo Picasso Málaga has scheduled Old and Modern, an art experience in which participants can discover the links between Pablo Picasso and artistic tradition, based on the exhibition Face to face. Picasso and the Old Masters.

In each of these sessions, the children will be able to look at different concepts, all of which can be seen in the exhibition. First, they will visit the museum’s exhibition halls, where works by artists such as Zurbarán, El Greco, Pacheco and Caracciolo are on display. Then, in the workshop area, they will put into practice everything they have learnt, trying their hand at portraiture, still life and trompe l’oeil. Painting, engraving, collage, optical illusions and photographs are just some of the techniques they will get to know in our workshops.

The youngsters will be divided into groups and the activities will take place in the comfortable and safe environment of Museo Picasso Málaga.

Dates: Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th March, from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Age: Youngsters aged 4 to 15. Language: Spanish Price: 100 € per person for the whole workshop week. 25 € for single days. With a 15% discount for siblings
