Book your place here, soon.
The Museo Picasso Málaga presents the exhibition The Paris of Brassaï. Photographs of the city that Picasso Loved. It will show the work of one of the most famous European photographers of the first half of the 20th century, who, with his work, helped to create the universal image of eternal Paris. Based on this exhibition, the Museum in Movement cycle is returning to the agenda, so families can come along on Saturday mornings to enjoy art activities in which photography and the city will be the main themes.
Many of the photos that Brassaï took show hidden corners of Paris. In some of them, we can take a close look at their surfaces, marks and textures. In the workshop The City in Relief, pieces of stone, wood, leaves from trees, and sand will be used to explore the city in a tactile way. How? By using the frottage, or rubbing, technique. Using graphite pencils and erasers, we will transfer all these forms and textures from our hands onto paper.
Designed for children aged 4 to 12 years old, accompanied by one adult, the activity includes anç non-guided visit to the temporary exhibition, and all the workshop materials. Price:7€ per person (children are also charged for this activity).
