The Time Capsule

As part of the Museo Picasso Málaga’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the students of the I.E.S Ntra. Sra. de la Victoria-Martiricos in Málaga are collaborating with the museum’s department of educational and cultural activities to create a visual chronicle of the year 2023 in the city they live in.
Press cuttings, receipts, social media screenshots, tickets for events and personal photographs give shape, through writing, drawing and collage, to this account of the present, which will be kept for two decades and shown to future schoolchildren in 2043.
On October 23 the scrapbook will be concealed in an emblematic place in the museum until it is brought out again in two decades’ time.
