What a Face!
Saturday, 12 March, 2022
On 22nd February, Museo Picasso Málaga will be opening to the public the exhibition Face to face. Picasso and the Old Masters, giving visitors a unique opportunity to discover links between the work of Picasso and a selection of works by the Old Masters, by juxtaposing his paintings alongside those of El Greco, Francisco Pacheco, Giovanni Battista Caracciolo, Francisco de Zurbarán, Cornelius Norbertus Gysbretchs, Bernardo Lorente Germán and Diego Bejarano.
What a Face! In this activity, children and grown-ups can dress up in huge glasses, false beards and other accessories to experiment with their faces, in a fun game using painted mirrors that will enable them to create astonishing characters. Then, using methacrylate, felt-tip markers, coloured card, and other materials, they will be able to create portraits and let their imagination run wild.
Aimed at youngsters aged 4 to 12 accompanied by an adult, this activity includes a self-guided tour of the temporary exhibition and all the materials used in the workshop. The price is 8€ per person (children and adults.)
