Dance at the Picasso Museum
To celebrate Museo Picasso Málaga’s 11th Anniversary, the 26th and 27th October will be devoted to dance at the museum, with a programme of activities that covers various facets of the art, such as contemporary dance, video-dance and flamenco.

10.00 AM to 8.00 PM SHORT DANCE FILMS. VIDEODANCE A programme of short films in which dance is the centre of the dialogue with the audio-visual medium. Curated by Nuria Font. In collaboration with Modul-dance In the multi-purpose room
11.00 AM, 1.00 PM, 5.00 PM and 6.00 PM VICTOR VIRGINIA.CONTEMPORARY DANCE Choreography and improvisation based on the idea of the portrait. A collaborative project by Victor Zambrana and Virginia García Performances at 11.00am and5.00pm in the courtyard of the Palacio Buenavista Performances at 1.00pm and 6.00pm in the garden of the Palacio de Buenavista
12.00 PM DANCE WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN In the temporary exhibition room on the first floor.
MONDAY, 27TH OCTOBER
9.00 PM BAILARTE. FLAMENCO Screening of the documentary Un día y diez años, produced for the 10th Anniversary of MPM, and a performance of flamenco song, dance and guitar by the Alicia Márquez and Ramón Martínez flamenco company. In the MPM Auditorium. With the collaboration of Codorniu.
Entrance to the Auditorium performance is free until all seats are taken. Tickets can be collected at the museum ticket office or, one hour before the show, at the auditorium.
