From Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25, the Museo Picasso Málaga will be collaborating on the second edition of the Escribidores Literary Festival of the Americas and Europe. Escribidores, which aims to disseminate and exchange literature between Latin America and Europe, is structured around a series of debates with writers, journalists, publishers and academics who reflect on new forms of storytelling and literary perspectives. Writers Jordi Soler, Inés Martín Rodrigo, Sergio del Molino, Isabel Allende, Luis Mateo Díez and David Foenkinos will take part in the various literary encounters which will be held in the MPM Auditorium, with free admission until all places are filled.

On Wednesday, February 22, at 6 p.m., Jordi Soler, Inés Martín Rodrigo, and Juan Tallón will discuss 'The Past in Words, moderated by journalist Isabel Guerrero. On Thursday, February 23rd, at 8 p.m., Sergio del Molino, Valeria Correa Fiz, and Leila Guerriero (online) will talk about ‘Literature and the Present in a meeting moderated by Cristina Fuentes. ‘Ghosts, spirits, and memories’ will be the subject of a conversation between Isabel Allende (online) and Raúl Tola, which will take place on February 24 at 8 p.m. Finally, on Saturday, February 25, at 9:00 p.m., Mathias Enard, Luis Mateo Díez and David Foenkinos will debate on ‘The Novel: An Infinite Mechanism, moderated by Maite Rico.
In addition, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, the Escribidores prize for cultural management will be presented to Raúl Padilla, and the prize for a literary career will be given to Nélida Piñón.
