Picasso. Toros, on view at the Museo Picasso Málaga from April, 1st until July, 3rd was seen by 63.273 visitors, an average of 791 per day.
Picasso. Toros, on view at the Museo Picasso Málaga from April, 1st until July, 3rd was seen by 63.273 visitors, an average of 791 per day. This temporary exhibition consisted of a selection of 61 works by Pablo Picasso along with 8 important archaeological pieces, whose loans came from Museums and private collections from Germany, France, USA and Spain.
A selection of 45 graphic works, from the collection, donated by Christine Ruiz-Picasso, are on view this summer, until September. This new presentation has been arranged focusing on the different techniques Picasso worked in, such as dry-point, etching, aquatint, sugar-lift aquatint or lithography.
On 24 October 2005, the Museo Picasso Málaga will present the exhibition Picasso. Ceramics and Tradition, part of which is now been exhibited at the Aichi Prefectural Museum in Japan, within the cultural activities programmed at the Expo Aichi 2005. This coming exhibition, in collaboration with the SEEI (National Society for International Exhibitions) will be shown until 5 February 2006.
