Bookbinding workshop

In connection with this temporary exhibition, the Museo Picasso Málaga is holding a workshop on artisanal bookbinding using bone-coloured paper, cardboard, cork, needles, thread and glue.

Through different bookbinding methods, each participant will have the chance to make a book from scratch: sewing gathered sheets, making the text block, crafting the boards from card and finally joining all the parts together.

The workshop includes a short guided tour of the exhibition and the subsequent workshop session with bookbinder Fernando Mateo.

The price of the activity includes all the necessary materials.
