María Blanchard and the creative power of your point of view

May 31, 2024

The Museo Picasso Málaga is hosting a storytelling activity with Belén Torregrosa in connection with the exhibition María Blanchard. A Painter in Spite of Cubism.

A woman is painting. Her name is María Blanchard. María, like you and me, is many things at once: the girl from Santander, a Cubist in Paris, Lorca’s poems in Madrid.

Through the creative lens of María Blanchard, this workshop on storytelling explores the power of experiencing questions, the importance of an attentive gaze and the magic of point of view in communication.

Participants will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the temporary exhibition galleries as a starting point for this storytelling workshop lasting two and a half hours, which is scheduled for the afternoon of May 31, 2024.

Belén Torregrosa, who holds a degree in German language and literature, has spent more than a decade working on projects with both creative and strategic verbal content. As the founder of LAVIDITA, a company specialising in projects for brands, companies and institutions in Spain and Latin America, she has left her mark in the field of writing and storytelling. Apart from her professional work, Belén shares her knowledge through education, as a senior lecturer at the University of Navarra since 2013 and a teacher at several renowned institutions such as Wander by Soulsight, EL PAUER in Medellín and the Mr Marcel School.
