Assembled

Picasso viewed sculpture as a means of expression just as he did painting, drawing, printmaking, and ceramics. In connection with the exhibition Picasso Sculptor. Matter and Body, participants in this activity can explore the sculptures Picasso created from everyday objects to learn about the technique of assemblage. In the workshop, children get to design sculptures, incorporating various materials such as polystyrene, cardboard, and cork, among others.
