Museum in Movement: Sculpture Garden I
May 20, 2023
The Museo Picasso Málaga offers activities as part of its Museum in Movement programme to bring art closer to people of all ages
Sculpture is an art that consists of carving, assembling, or modelling certain materials to produce a three-dimensional representation. Throughout his artistic career, Picasso used all the materials available to him in his sculptures: wood, bronze, iron, cement, steel, and plaster. Taking this as a starting point, workshop participants of all ages have the opportunity to create human figures and forms from different materials, filling the Museo Picasso Málaga’s garden with their own creations.
A second session of ‘Sculpture Garden’ held the following month, on Saturday, June 10, will carry on exploring other materials.
All participants, children and adults, must purchase their ticket. Minors must be accompanied at all times.
