Thinking in Three Dimensions

The human body is a common subject in Pablo Picasso’s sculptures throughout his prolific and diverse career. By taking part in Thinking in Three Dimensions, students have the chance to view works by Picasso in the context of the exhibition Picasso Sculptor. Matter and Body, in order to explore and broaden the forms of representing the human body three-dimensionally. The activity begins in the galleries of the MPM and continues with a volume workshop where participants experiment with the technique of modeling.
