June 1, 15 and 29, 2023
The Museo Picasso Málaga invites specialists in different fields of knowledge to offer their particular point of view of the exhibition Picasso Sculptor. Matter and Body.
Through a guided tour, guest experts present their different interpretations of the themes addressed in the first major exhibition in Spain devoted to Picasso’s sculpture: the importance of the human body understood as a whole and also as a fragment, technical innovation (alternating modelling with construction), and the use of unusual materials (welded iron, wood, sheet metal and found objects). The exhibition galleries thus become a meeting place and a forum for discussion on Pablo Picasso’s three-dimensional oeuvre.
