In connection with the exhibition Joel Meyerowitz. Europa 1966-1967 and as part of the series of Flamenco x Joel Meyerowitz activities, every Saturday in July the Museo Picasso Málaga is hosting guitar solos in the central courtyard of the Palacio de Buenavista.

While staying in Málaga in the 1960s, the American photographer Joel Meyerowitz had the opportunity to come into contact with the world of flamenco.

This initiatory experience for the artist is captured in more than 8,500 photographs and several hours’ recordings of flamenco sound. As a welcome to the exhibition, every Saturday in July the Museum will host performances by solo flamenco guitarists in its central courtyard.
